Tottenham defender Ella Morris has pulled out of Sarina Wiegman's England squad after suffering a serious knee injury in training.
The 22-year-old injured her cruciate ligament and has returned to Tottenham to begin her rehabilitation as she faces a lengthy period on the sidelines, meaning she will miss the Women's Euros this summer.
Morris is yet to make her debut for the Lionesses but had hoped to play in their Women's Nations League match against Portugal on Friday.
She became a regular starter for Spurs at the end of the season, starting 10 of their Women's Super League game, and has represented England at Under-17, Under-19 and Under-23 levels.
Wiegman is already without key defender Millie Bright, who is taking an extended period of recovery, and Mary Earps, after the goalkeeper announced her retirement from international football.
Manchester City midfielder Laura Blindkilde Brown has been named as Morris' replacement for the upcoming fixtures, receiving her third senior call-up.
England face Portugal on May 30 before travelling to Spain on June 3 for their final Women바카라s Nations League group match. Their Euros title defence begins on July 5 against France.
