FC Goa Vs Kerala Blasters Highlights, ISL 2024-25: FCG 2-0 KBFC At Full-time

Welcome to the live coverage of the Indian Super League where FC Goa play host to Kerala Blasters in the second game of the day.

The Gaurs, who have already qualified for the playoffs, will be aiming to secure a second-placed finish, with four games remaining, having 39 points from 20 matches on the back of 11 victories and six draws. They are in promising form with four triumphs in last five encounters, whereas Kerala Blasters FC are positioned eighth with 24 points in 20 encounters, having lost twice in their preceding three clashes.

41' Boris Singh misses and another chance for FC Goa goes into vain. A good attack made by the Gaurs after a corner but Singh fires his shot too high and the ball sails over the goalpost.

It has been a good back and forth so far as we head into the break. Both sides have come close to scoring but that final flourish has been missing. We will be back with action as soon as the break ends.

47' Gaurs get ahead just after the break. What a start for the hosts in the second half. Iker Guarrotxena is the scorer and it comes just after Dejan Drazic is denied by the Blasters. A rebound results in the first goal of the game and Kerala will need to find a way to come back.

55' Two substitutions here. Sandeep Singh has replaced Aibanbha Dohling because of an injury. Mohammed Aimen replaces Renthlei Lalthanmawia because of an injury.

68' Not one shot on target yet from Kerala Blasters and they really need to find their rhythm. Goa have been looking like the better side so far in the game.

A clinical performance from Goa both in offence as well as defence. Kerala Blasters did not look much threatening and the Gaurs get another win in Fatorda. Iker Guarrotxena struck on a rebound right after the half time before M. Yasir doubled the lead in the 73rd minute. Goa came close to scoring many times but these were the only two goals they would get.

12th win for Goa and they still remain on the second spot, seven points away from leaders Mohun Bagan. 11th loss for Kerala and they are now at the 10th spot in the standings.
