Students at Harvard University expressed dissatisfaction after the college바카라™s South Asia Institute hosted a 바카라œPakistan Conference바카라. Their criticism was centered around the event that potentially legitimized state-backed terror narratives on campus, ANI reported on Wednesday.

The conference - which was held after last week바카라™s terror attack in Pahalgam that killed at least 26 civilians - had been planned before the attack occurred. Its clash with the aftermath of the terror attack was a coincidence.

Harvard student Surabi Tomar, said to ANI, 바카라œWhen Harvard invites officials, especially officials who have ideologically justified such acts, it risks legitimising the state-backed terror narratives on our campus.바카라

She added that the Secretary of State Marco Rubio should deny visas to officials who support terror-linked ideologies.

Rashmini Koparkar, also a student at Harvard, claimed that the speakers of the event did not condemn the attack. 바카라œWe were expecting a certain degree of sensitivity and acknowledgment of what has happened,바카라 she said.

She added that even though the event was pre-planned and its schedule falling immediately after the Pahalgam terror attack was a coincidence, it would have been better if the guests were more thoughtful. She also said that a number of high-ranking officials that arrived at the event were in question because 바카라œthis is a state which has been harbouring cross-border terrorism for years. India has been suffering.바카라

The South Asia Institute issued a statement after the controversy sparked. The statement stated that such events and academic research projects are a regular occurrence throughout the academic year.

바카라œOne such event was 바카라œThe Pakistan Conference,바카라 organized by students from Harvard and held on April 27, 2025. In accordance with our principles of operation, we did not consult any benefactor of the Institute regarding this conference. The students, along with their faculty advisor, independently determined the topics and speakers presenting.. We share the grief and anguish with our friends, colleagues, and loved ones in India who have been affected by the attack in Pahalgam on April 22, 2025, and we offer our heartfelt conference,바카라 the statement said.
