Indian delegations have received support and solidarity in its stand on 'Zero Tolerance For Terrorism' from countries including Guyana, Qatar, Japan and others. Congress MP Shashi Tharoor-led delegation is scheduled to reach Panama on Tuesday after their successful Guyana visit, while NCP-SP leader Supriya Sule-led delegation also apprised Qatari leaders' stance against terrorism.
As part of India바카라s diplomatic outreach, seven multi-party delegations are travelling to 33 global capitals to reach out to the international community on Pakistan바카라s designs and India바카라s response to terror, especially in view of the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that left 26 people dead.
Tensions between India and Pakistan escalated after the Pahalgam attack.
India carried out precision strikes as part of Operation Sindoor on terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir in the early hours of May 7, following which Pakistan attempted to attack Indian military bases on May 8, 9, and 10. The Indian side responded strongly to the Pakistani actions.
The on-ground hostilities ended with an understanding of stopping the military actions following talks between the directors general of military operations of both sides on May 10.
Congress MP Shashi Tharoor-Led Delegation Receives 'Unwavering' Support From Guyana; Next Stop Panama
Guyana's Vice President Bharrat Jagdeo and Prime Minister Mark Phillips have reiterated their country's unwavering support to India바카라s fight against terrorism, as an all-party parliamentary delegation led by Congress MP Shashi Tharoor met them to brief them on India바카라s position on the issue.
The Indian delegation arrived there on Sunday morning and Prime Minister Phillips hosted the Indian All-Party Parliamentary Delegation in Berbice on the eve of Guyana바카라s 59th Independence Day.
The delegation "called on Dr Bharrat Jagdeo, Vice President of Guyana. The delegation elaborated on India바카라s position on Pahalgam, #OperationSindoor and the Indus Water Treaty, underlining India바카라s resolute policy of #ZeroToleranceForTerrorism," the High Commission of India in Georgetown posted on X.
"Hon바카라ble VP reiterated Guyana바카라s unwavering support to India바카라s fight against terrorism," it said.
Tharoor in a post on X said the delegation also had an "excellent meeting" with Jagdeo in the presidential Palace.
"In addition to his expression of strong sympathy and understanding for India바카라s concerns in the wake of recent events, our conversation also spanned a range of topics relating to Guyana바카라s record-breaking 30% annual economic growth and development plans following the discovery of oil and gas," he said.
"A large number of opportunities for Indian companies were mentioned, in sectors ranging from agriculture to Telecoms, banking and highway development. Guyana is also experiencing labour shortages and would welcome Indian labour as well," Tharoor said.
"The discussion covered a wide range of issues pertaining to India-Guyana cooperation. The Indian delegation briefed Hon바카라ble PM regarding ##OperationSindoor and India바카라s #ZeroToleranceForTerrorism. Hon바카라ble PM reiterated Guyana바카라s support and understanding for India바카라s measures towards combating cross-border terrorism," it said.
The delegation members include Sarfaraz Ahmad (JMM), Gants Harish Madhur Balayogi (TDP), Shashank Mani Tripathi (BJP), Bhubaneswar Kalita (BJP), Milind Deora (Shiv Sena), Tejasvi Surya (BJP), and India바카라s former Ambassador to the US Taranjit Sandhu.
They will visit Panama from Tuesday and during the three-day visit, the delegation will interact with Panamanian leadership and key interlocutors from the media, strategic community, Indian community and diaspora, and friends of India in Panama, the Embassy of India in Panama, Nicaragua and Costa Rica posted on X.
NCP-SP MP Supriya Sule-Led Delegation Apprise Qatari Minister's Stand On Pahalgam Attack
An all-party parliamentary delegation on Monday apprised a junior Qatari minister of India바카라s stand on the Pahalgam terrorist attack, Operation Sindoor and the country's national consensus for zero-tolerance against terrorism.
The all-party delegation led by NCP-SP leader Supriya Sule arrived in Qatar late Saturday as part of the government바카라s outreach to the international community on the fight against terror and the significance of Operation Sindoor.
"Today morning the multi-party delegation met HE Dr. Mohamed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, MoS for Foreign Affairs and conveyed India바카라s perspectives on the Pahalgam terrorist attack, Operation Sindoor and India's national consensus for zero-tolerance against terrorism," the Indian Embassy in Qatar posted on X.
"MoS Dr Al Khulaifi conveyed Qatar's solidarity with India and policy of zero tolerance against terrorism for regional stability and prosperity," it said in another post.
The delegation on Sunday met the Deputy Speaker of the Qatar Shura Council Dr Hamda Al Sulaiti and other Qatari MPs and conveyed India바카라s national outrage over the April 22 Pahalgam attack.
The delegation highlighted the visit reflected India바카라s united stance on cross-border terrorism.
Apart from Sule, the working president of the NCP-SP, the delegation comprises BJP leaders Rajiv Pratap Rudy, Anurag Thakur and V Muraleedharan, Congress leaders Manish Tewari and Anand Sharma, TDP leader Lavu Sri Krishna Devarayalu, AAP leader Vikramjeet Singh Sawhney, and former diplomat Syed Akbaruddin.
It will also travel to South Africa, Ethiopia and Egypt.
BJP MP Baijayant Jay Panda-Led Delegation Arrives In Kuwait
An all-party Indian parliamentary delegation led by BJP MP Baijayant Jay Panda arrived in Kuwait on Monday to highlight India's zero-tolerance stance against terrorism after their successful meeting in Bahrain.
"The All-Party delegation led by @PandaJay arrived in Kuwait carrying India's resolute message of #ZeroTolerance and #NewNormal against terrorism to be highlighted in its engagements in Kuwait," Embassy of India, Kuwait posted on X.
Indian Ambassador Adarsh Swaika received the delegation at the airport.
All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen leader Asaduddin Owaisi, former Union Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, ex-National chairperson of the National Commission for Women and Rajya Sabha MP Rekha Sharma, and Harsh Vardhan Shringla, former foreign secretary, former Ambassador to the United States, Bangladesh & Thailand, are some other members of the delegation. During their stay in Kuwait, the delegation will interact with senior dignitaries from the Kuwaiti government, prominent members of civil society, influencers, think tanks, media and a cross-section of the Indian diaspora.
The delegation earlier visited Bahrain and briefed Bahrain's Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa about the challenge of cross-border terrorism facing India and New Delhi바카라s firm resolve to combat it.
It also met Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, the chairman of Shura Bahrain, the upper house of the legislative body of Bahrain and underscored India바카라s resolve to fight against terrorism and strengthen bilateral ties.
The delegation also visited Bab Al Bahrain, a historic landmark in Manama, which Panda described as a 바카라symbol of Bahrain바카라s rich cultural heritage and enduring ties with India.바카라 The delegation reached there on Saturday for a two-day visit. During the visit, they also met prominent Indians and civil society members.
BJP Leader Ravi Shankar Prasad-Led Delegation Reaches France
An all-party delegation led by BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad arrived in the French capital of Paris on Sunday evening, marking the first stop of their six-nation tour to convey India바카라s firm resolve against terrorism.
The delegation, the seventh group in an international outreach initiative in the wake of Operation Sindoor, includes Daggubati Purandeswari, Priyanka Chaturvedi, Ghulam Ali Khatana, Dr Amar Singh, Samik Bhattacharya, M Thambidurai, former union minister M J Akbar, and Ambassador Pankaj Saran.
바카라An All Party 9-member delegation of eminent Parliamentarians and a distinguished former diplomat, led by Ravi Shankar Prasad, arrived in Paris today to convey India바카라s strong and clear stance against terrorism,바카라 the Indian Embassy in France said in a post on X on Sunday.
In a press statement, the embassy noted that during the course of their three-day visit, the delegation will engage with 바카라members of the Senate and National Assembly, think tanks, media and a cross-section of the Indian diaspora바카라.
The group is scheduled to hold a series of meetings with community groups, think tanks and parliamentarians in Paris before leaving for Italy and then onwards to cover other European destinations including the UK, Germany, and Denmark.
