A doctor who was charged of illegally supplying ketamine to actor Matthew Perry before his death in 2023 has agreed to plead guilty. He could face a maximum 40 years in prison.

As per a report in Variety, on Monday, June 16, prosecutors announced that the 바카라lead바카라 doctor charged in connection with Matthew Perry's death due to ketamine overdose, has accepted a plea deal.
Dr Salvador Plasencia, who is from Santa Monica, California, is the doctor in question, who has agreed to plead guilty to four counts of distribution of ketamine, a spokesperson with the Central District of California said.
Dr Salvador is one of five people who were accused in relation to the Friends' actor death.
As per the prosecutors, an underground network of drug sellers and suppliers was responsible for distributing the ketamine that took Matthew's life.
In the plea agreement, which was filed on Monday in federal court in Los Angeles, Dr Salvador confessed that he repeatedly supplied ketamine without a legitimate medical purpose. For this crime, he could face 40 years of imprisonment and a $2 million fine.
According to a report by ABC News, as per the agreement, Salvador provided 20 vials of ketamine, ketamine lozenges and syringes to Matthew and his live-in assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, between September 30, 2023, and October 12, 2023.
Salvador also admitted that his "conduct fell below the proper standard of medical care and that transfers of ketamine vials to Defendant Iwamasa and Victim M.P. were not for a legitimate medical purpose".
He went to Perry's home to give him a ketamine shot, and also administered ketamine to the actor in a parking lot.
According to a co-defendant, in a text message, Dr Salvador Plasencia called Matthew Perry a 바카라moron바카라 who could be exploited for money.
Perry was found dead by his assistant on October 28, 2023, at his Los Angeles home. He was 54. As per toxicology reports, the cause of his death was due to acute ketamine effects, along with drowning and coronary artery disease. There was also an investigation into the drugs involved in the case, followed by multiple arrests.
