Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, currently leading a multi-party delegation abroad, has garnered support from Union Minister Kiren Rijiju amid criticism from party colleague Udit Raj over his recent remarks on India's military operations.

"What does the Congress party want & How much they really care for the country? Should the Indian MPs go to foreign nation and speak against India and its Prime Minister? There바카라™s limit to political desperation!", Rijiju questioned the Congress party's stance, posting on X.

What Did Udit Raj Say?

The statement comes after Congress leader Udit Raj criticised Shashi Tharoor for his reported remarks at an event in Panama, where Tharoor purportedly claimed that India crossed the Line of Control for the first time during the 2016 surgical strike on a terrorist base.

Raj sarcastically suggested that Tharoor should be appointed the "super spokesperson of the BJP," accusing him of undermining the Congress party's legacy.

The BJP earlier on Wednesday alleged that Udit Raj's criticism of Shashi Tharoor was at Rahul Gandhi's behest, claiming Tharoor had earned goodwill for prioritizing national interest over party loyalty and the Gandhi family's influence by exposing Pakistan globally.

Citing Shehzad Poonawalla, PTI reported that Shashi Tharoor is being attacked at the behest of Rahul Gandhi because Shashi Tharoor kept India first not (Gandhi) family. He talked about national interest, not his party바카라™s interest. He is being attacked because he kept national policy above the vote bank (politics).
